BharatVijay Nexgen Innovation Pvt Ltd is an India-based defence innovation company focused on building next-generation technologies for national security, strategic readiness, and dual-use applications. Founded with the operational insight of a retired Army Officer, the company bridges the gap between real field requirements and indigenous technological capability.

Our long-term scope spans research, design, prototyping, systems development, strategic partnerships, and eventual manufacturing enablement — across anti-drone systems, AI, robotics, sensors, cybersecurity, communications, simulation, aerospace, naval technologies, advanced materials, and soldier systems.

Shailendra Thapliyal

Founder & CEO

Lt Col Shailendra Thapliyal (Retd.) is a veteran of the Indian Army, having served for over 21 years before retiring, and now brings that operational experience to BharatVijay as Founder & CEO. He served as Team Commander with the National Security Guard (NSG), leading operations across counter-terrorism, counter-insurgency, counter-hijack, VIP security, and bomb disposal. He served as an instructor at the Commando School, Belgaum, and later at the Corps Battle School, preparing troops for counterinsurgency operations along the Line of Control. His overseas service includes a tenure with the United Nations Peacekeeping Mission in Congo. His last appointment before retiring was as Senior Security Officer at DRDO, Ministry of Defence, Government of India — first-hand operational insight that is the foundation on which BharatVijay is built.
