The upper half is for a technician who can do component-level SMD rework and can be sent to a site alone and come back with a working, commissioned installation. If you are strong on installation but have not done SMD rework yet, apply — say so, and expect the lower half to start with.

WHAT YOU WILL ACTUALLY DO

The work, concretely

01

Assemble PCBs and electronic sub-assemblies — through-hole and SMD soldering, rework, de-soldering, conformal coating and inspection.

02

Diagnose and repair faults on small PCBs and electronic equipment down to component level, using multimeter, oscilloscope, hot-air station and soldering station.

03

Build wiring harnesses: cutting, crimping, connector termination, labelling, routing, waterproofing and continuity testing.

04

Install, commission and maintain electronic equipment at customer and field sites — including mast and pole mounting, sensor alignment, cable runs, earthing and lightning protection.

05

Install and configure CCTV and allied surveillance equipment — cameras, DVR/NVR, PoE switches, cabling, alignment and basic network configuration.

06

Install, test and maintain DC power systems — solar panels, batteries, charge controllers, DC-DC converters and protection devices — including load testing, battery health checks and fault-finding.

07

Carry out preventive maintenance visits, replace failed units, and record what was found and what was done.

08

Support the engineering team during prototyping, testing and trials — building test rigs, running endurance tests and logging results.

09

Maintain the workshop: tools, stores, component inventory, calibration status and general order.

10

Keep clean service records for every unit — serial numbers, work done, parts replaced, test results.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

What you need to bring

Education

ITI (Electronics / Electrician / Instrumentation / Mechanic Consumer Electronics) or Diploma in Electronics, Electrical or a related trade. Equivalent, verifiable hands-on experience will be considered in place of a formal qualification.

Technical skills — required

PCB repair and maintenance

Confident fault-finding and component-level repair on small boards, including SMD rework.

PCB and electronics assembly

Clean, reliable soldering and assembly work to a consistent standard.

Equipment installation

Practical experience installing and commissioning electronic equipment at site.

CCTV installation

Hands-on experience with camera installation, cabling, DVR/NVR setup and basic network configuration.

DC systems

Repair and maintenance of DC power — batteries, charge controllers, solar panels, DC wiring and protection.

Test instruments

Competent use of multimeter, clamp meter, oscilloscope, soldering and hot-air stations, and hand and power tools.

Safety

Safe working practice with electrical systems, at height and in the field.

Highly desirable

Experience with solar off-grid installations.

Basic networking — IP addressing, switches, routers, running and terminating LAN cable.

Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams and mechanical drawings.

Basic mechanical fitting and fabrication — drilling, tapping, mounting, weatherproofing.

Working knowledge of a computer for logs, photographs and reports.

Valid driving licence (two-wheeler and/or four-wheeler).

WHAT WE DO NOT EXPECT YOU TO ALREADY HAVE

We will train you on these

We looked at what is actually being advertised in Hyderabad for this trade. Almost no employer here asks for mast or tower erection, and very few ask for the full DC chain. So we are not going to pretend to expect it.

Mast and tower erection

Nobody in this city is training people to do it. We will train you, and we will buy you the equipment to do it safely.

The complete DC power chain

Batteries, charge controllers and panels together. Most solar work here is panels or inverters, not the whole chain. We will train you.

Weather instrumentation or aviation systems

Nobody arrives with this.

What you must arrive with is the soldering hand, the fault-finding instinct, and the willingness to go up.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR IN THE PERSON

Beyond the skill list

Pride in neat work. A tidy solder joint, a labelled harness and a straight mast tell us more than a certificate does.

Reliability. Field installations depend on the technician turning up prepared, with the right tools and the right spares.

Physical fitness for field work — outdoor sites, ladders and masts, heat, dust and rain.

Willingness to travel at short notice to sites, sometimes remote, and to stay until the job is finished.

Honest reporting — tell us what actually happened at site, including the mistakes. We would far rather hear it from you than find it later.

Discretion regarding customers, locations and technical details.

Conversational Hindi and/or English; Telugu or Gujarati is a bonus.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

₹20,000 – ₹32,000 per month, fixed

100% fixed pay — no variable component to chase. Plus the full package below, which applies to both positions.

EPF from day one

Employer contribution over and above the quoted salary. Paid on a fixed date every month — a date, not “by the first week”.

₹5,00,000 medical cover

A family floater — including your parents. Not standard at a company of our size. We think it should be. Personal accident cover as well.

Monthly field allowance

A fixed monthly field allowance over and above actual reimbursements, so that nobody ever has to argue about a ₹120 auto fare.

Safety equipment provided

Full-body harness, helmet, insulated tools, footwear — provided and replaced when worn. This is not a benefit; it is our obligation.

The Gandhinagar deployment starts on day one

The first two months are an active project deployment in Gandhinagar, Gujarat. Accommodation and travel are paid by the company, over and above salary, with a deployment allowance paid fortnightly in advance. This posting is not optional. Please apply only if you can commit to it — we say it here rather than at offer stage because we would rather lose you now than in week three.
